Debra brings over 25-years of health-care experience to Orthopaedic Practice Solutions. She offers knowledge and provides profitable solutions for all areas of a medical practice. Debra has consulted with many physicians on correct coding, reducing overhead, successful negotiations with contracted payers, capturing all billable charges, and provides strategies on how to "get the money" in to your practice. Her objective is "helping physicians get paid for the work that they do".
Her specialized areas include supervising the daily operations of a medical practice, administrative interim, practice/staff analysis, orthopaedic coding/collections, surgical and clinical audits, strategies for higher reimbursement and educating/developing staff to reach higher performance and production. Debra will enhance growth and bring a medical practice to its fullest potential.

Debra has an advanced certification in orthopaedic coding. She is a member of BONES, AAOE, MGMA, Board of Specialty Coding and has AAOS training in practice management and specialized orthopaedic coding.
MICHELLE M. FRANZEN
Co-Founder / Medical Practice Consultant
Michelle offers 20-years of health-care experience, specializing in documentation optimization and maximal reimbursement. With her ingenuity she has created proprietary tools which help to eliminate dictation and capture higher CPT levels - all proprietary tools may be customized to each individual physician. She has had the opportunity to work with many top-producing physicians in multiple different specialties. She however finds her passion with orthopaedics.
Throughout her career, Michelle has applied her skill-set through broad-ranging responsibilities in the areas of operations, business development, practice management, strategic planning, benchmarking, financial analysis, and development and training of employees. Michelle also has a broad understanding (8 years experience) when implementing and utilizing EMR/EHR within medical practices.
Her experience and background in healthcare administration, business management, and education help her to quickly and effectively understand the relationship through big-picture thinking and the daily details required to achieve her objectives. Her career responsibilities have enabled her to focus on improving operations, services, and profitability.
